What is HVCBA Driver Training?

Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA) is an Service NSW–approved assessment process that allows eligible drivers to upgrade or obtain a heavy vehicle licence without completing a traditional driving test.

The assessment is conducted by a qualified HVCBA assessor and focuses on real-world driving competence and safety, rather than a single test day.
